Dentists (in Gig Harbor or anywhere) offer the best patient experience when supported by a caring, capable, and friendly team. We aim to exceed your expectations and guide you to a healthier mouth and body.
The Pacific Northwest has been my home for over 40 years! I grew up in Port Orchard and have lived in Gig Harbor for the last 20 years. I began my dental hygiene career in 1995 when I graduated from Pierce College. The best thing about my career is the opportunity to meet and interact with so many unique and awesome patients each and every day. After all these years, I still love and enjoy my job, and the quality of services that we provide are outstanding. I strive to make sure all of my patients have great experiences and are very comfortable.
One of the highlights of my career was a period of time that I had the privilege to volunteer at the Point Defiance Zoo where I cleaned many different animals' teeth, including polar bears!
Outside the office, I enjoy family time with my husband and two beautiful girls. We enjoy sports, traveling and exploring new areas, watching movies, and playing games.
I enjoy being a part of Dr. Kim Rioux's team. We all share a common goal: to provide our patients with the highest quality care in a comfortable atmosphere. I enjoy building relationships with our new and current patients, talking, laughing, and helping each person learn how quality at-home dental care affects whole body health.
I have been a registered dental hygienist since 2001 and in the dental field since 1991. I believe in life-long learning, so in 2015 I earned my Bachelor of Science from The College of Health, Arts and Sciences of Oregon Technical Institute and I pursue as many ongoing continuing education courses as possible. I actively support and promote my profession through volunteer leadership with our local chapter of the American Dental Hygiene Association.
I believe we should enjoy each day we are given and live life to its fullest! My motto: spend time with family and friends, travel, golf, go to the concert, be true, and most importantly, be kind!
I was born and raised in Washington and absolutely love living in the Pacific Northwest. During career day my senior year of high school, I decided I wanted to pursue a career in dental hygiene. I graduated from the dental hygiene program at Yakima Valley College in 2005 and have loved my career every day since! I am passionate about patient education and making my patients feel as comfortable as possible while in the office.
When I'm not at the office, I love spending time with my husband, family, and friends, traveling, watching movies, and reading.
I was born in Texas and moved to the PNW as a young girl. I absolutely love the beautiful landscape we are lucky to call home!
I began working in the dental field as an assistant in 2007. I went on to obtain my bachelors degree from Western Washington University and began pursuing my degree in dental hygiene immediately after.
I recently moved to the Gig Harbor area in 2017 along with my husband, a local firefighter, and my two young daughters. In my spare time, I enjoy practicing yoga, being on the water, and watching my little girls grow. I am grateful for the opportunity to provide you with the quality of care you deserve and look forward to seeing you around the office soon.
I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program from Clover Park Technical College in 1992. I always wanted to work in the health industry. I chose the dental profession because it would allow me to meet new people, help others learn about the importance of dental health, and build lasting relationships with patients. I try to make each and every experience a positive one for my patients.
I enjoy every aspect of my job, especially the group of women who I work with. We’ve all known each other for a long time, and they are very much like a second family. Dr. Rioux and the girls make coming to work an enjoyable thing!
Outside of being at the dental office in Gig Harbor, I’ve kept busy with my three sons. I also like to go to the movie theater, go on walks, and spend time with friends.
I was raised in Gig Harbor and graduated from Gig Harbor High School. I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at Clover Park Technical College in 2005. Outside of the office, I enjoy time with my husband and our two kids. I love cooking, gardening, and spending time with friends!
My favorite part about being a dental assistant is having the opportunity to know my patients personally, as well as being able to treat their diverse dental needs. I enjoy the challenge of each new case and helping my patients feel comfortable and well cared for.
Originally from eastern Washington, I’ve lived in the great city of Gig Harbor since 2014 along with my husband, four daughters, and our fur-son Jax. I graduated from the Dental Assisting program at YVCC and YV-Tech in 2013. I have had the honor to be a part of such a dynamic team at Harbor Hill Dentistry since 2017. My priority as a dental assistant is to maintain a comfortable atmosphere and experience for our patients. In my personal time, I love spending quality time with my family and cooking new recipes off of Pinterest.
I was born and raised in the Pacific NW. I grew up in Auburn where I started my dental career. My career started during high school when my childhood dentist hired me for sterilization and front office admin duties. After graduation, I moved to another practice in Auburn, and my assisting career began. I worked as a dental assistant for 10 years and after my 2nd child was born in 1999, I left the practice to stay home and raise my kids. Once my kids got to high school age, my passion for dentistry brought me back to the field. In 2013, I returned to the working world as part of the Admin team in a practice in Maple Valley. In 2018, life events led me away from Maple Valley, and that is when I became a part of Dr. Rioux's amazing practice.
Our team at Harbor Hill Dentistry is amazing! I love every aspect of my job!
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband, my young adult children, our friends, and relaxing in our little piece of heaven on the Columbia River.
‘‘My visit was great. The reception group welcomed me warmly and helped me feel comfortable. Carey has always been warm and welcoming and does a great job with my cleanings. Dr. Rioux has always been warm and compassionate in her care. All the staff have taken the time to explain what they suggest we do and how it would occur. Thanks to all of you!’’
