Dentists (in Gig Harbor or anywhere) offer the best patient experience when supported by a caring, capable, and friendly team. We aim to exceed your expectations and guide you to a healthier mouth and body.
I was born in the Fiji Islands, but I’ve lived in Washington for over thirty years, and I love the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. I live in Gig Harbor with my husband, our three girls, and our dog Holly.
I graduated from Shoreline Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Before that, I was working as a dental assistant. I enjoy educating and building relationships with my patients. In my spare time, I enjoy camping, traveling, hiking, gardening, baking, and cooking. I love working with Dr. Rioux and our team, and I look forward to meeting you!
I enjoy being a part of Dr. Kim Rioux's team. We all share a common goal: to provide our patients with the highest quality care in a comfortable atmosphere. I enjoy building relationships with our new and current patients, talking, laughing, and helping each person learn how quality at-home dental care affects whole body health.
I have been a registered dental hygienist since 2001 and in the dental field since 1991. I believe in life-long learning, so in 2015 I earned my Bachelor of Science from The College of Health, Arts and Sciences of Oregon Technical Institute and I pursue as many ongoing continuing education courses as possible. I actively support and promote my profession through volunteer leadership with our local chapter of the American Dental Hygiene Association.
I believe we should enjoy each day we are given and live life to its fullest! My motto: spend time with family and friends, travel, golf, go to the concert, be true, and most importantly, be kind!
I was born and raised in Southern California, but since 2017 I have called Washington home. I moved up to the PNW to soak up the rain and relish in all the beauty that surrounds us. I started my career as a dental assistant in 2009 and became a dental hygienist by 2012. I truly enjoy my profession because it allows me the opportunity to share my passion with so many people. As a dental hygienist, I strive to provide each patient with the utmost respect, attention, and understanding while providing individualized care. At each appointment, I will personalize your dental hygiene treatment plan to fit your specific needs. I will share advice and provide the guidance you need to achieve optimal oral health.
I joined Dr. Rioux’s team in the summer of 2020 and have enjoyed every day. The patients and staff of Harbor Hill Dentistry play a huge part in making my work days fun and exciting.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my significant other and our three dogs Areo, Max and Lily. I love fishing, crabbing, eating at new restaurants, playing board games with friends, and singing karaoke.
I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program from Clover Park Technical College in 1992. I always wanted to work in the health industry. I chose the dental profession because it would allow me to meet new people, help others learn about the importance of dental health, and build lasting relationships with patients. I try to make each and every experience a positive one for my patients.
I enjoy every aspect of my job, especially the group of women who I work with. We’ve all known each other for a long time, and they are very much like a second family. Dr. Rioux and the girls make coming to work an enjoyable thing!
Outside of being at the dental office in Gig Harbor, I’ve kept busy with my three sons. I also like to go to the movie theater, go on walks, and spend time with friends.
I was raised in Gig Harbor and graduated from Gig Harbor High School. I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at Clover Park Technical College in 2005. Outside of the office, I enjoy time with my husband and our two kids. I love cooking, gardening, and spending time with friends!
My favorite part about being a dental assistant is having the opportunity to know my patients personally, as well as being able to treat their diverse dental needs. I enjoy the challenge of each new case and helping my patients feel comfortable and well cared for.
Originally from eastern Washington, I’ve lived in the great city of Gig Harbor since 2014 along with my husband, four daughters, and our fur-son Jax. I graduated from the Dental Assisting program at YVCC and YV-Tech in 2013. I have had the honor to be a part of such a dynamic team at Harbor Hill Dentistry since 2017.
My priority as a dental assistant is to maintain a comfortable atmosphere and experience for our patients. In my personal time, I love spending quality time with my family and cooking new recipes off of Pinterest.
I was born and raised in Southern California. I’ve been in the dental field for 15 years, from dental assisting to dental administration. My husband currently serves in the U.S. Navy, which has blessed us with the opportunity to live in Hawaii for six years, and now this beautiful state. We enjoy all the seasons and scenery Washington has to offer.
I enjoy working with Dr. Rioux and our talented staff. I’m continually learning new things about dentistry working at this exceptional office.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and kids, hiking, and watching Hallmark movies.
I was born in Virginia and moved to the Pacific Northwest when I was very young. Being a PNW native, I am gifted with immense gratitude for our home's state beauty and grandeur. Aside from gawking at the mountains and sunsets, I enjoy attending car shows, taking photos, and going on hikes.
I currently study at Tacoma Community College. I am enthusiastic about being a member of the Harbor Hill Dentistry team and I welcome the opportunity to learn academically at TCC and in the workplace here at Dr. Rioux’s office.
‘‘My visit was great. The reception group welcomed me warmly and helped me feel comfortable. Carey has always been warm and welcoming and does a great job with my cleanings. Dr. Rioux has always been warm and compassionate in her care. All the staff have taken the time to explain what they suggest we do and how it would occur. Thanks to all of you!’’
