Meet The Doctor

Dr. Rioux was born in Salt Lake City, Utah and spent much of her childhood between Utah and Madison, Connecticut. Her passion is working with her hands to create and restore natural health and beauty.

In 1995, Dr. Rioux graduated from the University of Washington and was accepted into the University of Washington of Dentistry. In 1996, she received the U.S. Navy's dental officer scholarship. Dr. Rioux graduated from dental school in 1999. She then attended the U.S. Navy Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency course in Norfolk, Virginia. Over the course of a year, Dr. Rioux received specialized training in oral surgery, root canal therapy, periodontal treatments, as well as crown and bridge work and aesthetic dentistry. She worked in private practice in Bainbridge Island for two and a half years before coming to Gig Harbor.

Dr. Rioux continues to expand her knowledge with continuing education in the ever changing field of dentistry. The opportunities and choices for establishing and maintaining health, function and beauty are almost limitless. Since health must form the foundation, Dr. Rioux emphasizes prevention and early detection of disease with the most leading edge technologies, including using lasers and bioluminescence testing. These tests are painless, provide instant results, and are very affordable.

Dr. Rioux has two chidren. Her son, Brev, was born in 2000 and her daughter, Adele, in 2005. Her other interests are the outdoors, gardening, cycling and she remains passionate about animals. Her early years were spent exploring rocky beaches, tide pools, mountain trails and the high desert.
